FISHIN' FRENZY

FISHIN' FRENZY is one of those games that sounds boring on paper and turns out to be weirdly hard to put down. You cast a line, wait for a bite, and pull at the right moment. That's the whole loop, but the rhythm of it is oddly satisfying, especially in short bursts while you're waiting for something.

The controls are refreshingly simple: tap to cast, hold and release to reel in, and a small tension bar keeps you from yanking too hard and losing the catch. It plays fine one-handed, which is rare enough to mention. Different spots have different fish, and figuring out where the good ones hide gives you a light sense of progression without any pressure.

On battery it's gentle — we ran long sessions without the phone getting warm, and it kept working smoothly even on our older test device. If you want something calm that still asks a little skill from you, this is an easy recommendation.
